SUMMER SOCCER WORKOUTS!
WHERE: Longmont High School Weight Room and Soccer Field
DATES: June 13 – August 3 (no workouts July 4 – 8) DAYS: Mondays and Wednesdays TIME: 6pm – 8pm
WHO: All boys and girls who will be in 9th through 12th grades this fall and plan to play soccer for Longmont High School.
COST: Only $100 per athlete for the entire summer! Longmont Soccer has teamed up with Canyon Performance Training to provide a strength and conditioning program designed exclusively for Longmont soccer! The program with emphasize: ● Evidence-based, functional, soccer specific strength and conditioning lifts and drills in the weight room and on the field. ● Proven Injury Risk Reduction techniques with special attention paid to knees and ankles. ● Balance, core strength, explosive power, strength in multiple planes, and athletic movement. ● Flexibility and proper muscle balance. We will leave about 30 minutes at the end of the strength and conditioning for kickarounds and other soccer specific activities.
